Safety & Security

Security of the children and the facilities is top of mind. The properties are fully fenced and locked 24/7. Access is limited to verified caregivers and/or parents. No child will be handed over to anyone but the known caregiver unless written instructions are received with the name and photo of a representative, to the principal’s WhatsApp.

First Aid - Every staff member is trained to handle first responder care to anyone needing it. Staff update their qualification every 2 years. Tick Tock Educare is also subscribed to ECMR. 

Fire & Rescue - Principal, Belinda Ambler, is a certified Fire Warden and SHE Rep. The continuous responsibility for making sure all serviced equipment remain intact and operational is taken seriously. Checks are done monthly on the Fire Extinguishers and all hazards are removed immediately.

Evacuation - A reputable Health & Safety Specialist has compiled our Evacuation Policies and Procedures a copy is displayed in the classroom for ease of access to the necessary information. Evacuation drills take place regularly.

Protocols and procedures established during the Covid Pandemic mostly remain in place for the added level of safety they encourage. We strive to maintain a green zone for the safety of children, staff and parents.
